Hotel Location & Directions

Our fantastic location means you'll be within easy walking distance of Blackpool's main attractions - such as Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach, The Sandcastle and all three piers. If you'd like to travel further afield, we are also across from Blackpool's famous trams, as well as local bus and train links! We can even offer you very good prices so you can get the most out of your holiday to Blackpool!

Of course the Hotel itself hosts excellent entertainment in our own Ballroom, Bar and Games room, including dancing, sing-alongs and regular cabaret!. This means you’re near enough to take advantage of all that Blackpool has to offer!! But able to retreat to peace when exhausted within The Kensington's comfortable surroundings.

Arriving by Car:

From the M55 motorway, carry on along the Blackpool link road (Yeadon Way). After passing the petrol station to your left, turn right at the first roundabout (Waterloo Road). Follow the road round to the lights, turn left, over the bridge and through the lights, heading for the Promenade. Turn right at the Promenade lights and we are situated just a few hundred yards down. If you pass Central Pier you have gone too far so look out for us!

Arriving By Train:

We’re only a 20 minutes walk and 10 minutes taxi ride from the Blackpool train station so if you have bags with you it’s probably worth the cost of a taxi around £6.

Arriving By Coach:

Talbot Road Bus Station – Which is next to the North Train Station. Only about 10 minutes away in a taxi.

Arriving By Air at Blackpool Airport:

The airport is about 2 miles away so a taxi will cost around £6.
